Types CG-1600G through CG-720G are yttrium-gadolinium-iron granets in order of increased gadolinium substitution. These materials are free of aluminum substitution which would decrease their Curie temperature.

Characteristics & Applications

These garnet materials are characterized by their very low dielectric loss tangent, higher microwave power handling ability, better square loop properties, and temperature stability. Improved broadband circular characteristics that specify minimum insertion loss at higher power are attainable. The frequency range of these materials is from L-band to C-band for non-resonant devices.
